Oppo Find X10 Lands in India on Oct 22 With the World's First Triple-200MP Camera Phone

Three 200MP cameras. A 2nm chip. An 8,000mAh battery. The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is the most camera-maximalist phone ever built — and India gets it on October 22.

The camera wars have officially lost the plot — in the best possible way. The Oppo Find X10 series launches in India on October 22 (4:45 PM IST), one day after the global debut in Spain, and the Pro Max variant carries something no phone has ever had: three 200MP rear cameras.

Not one 200MP sensor with two sidekicks. Three. Main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto, all 200 megapixels, all co-developed with Hasselblad. It's the most camera-maximalist phone ever built, and it raises the obvious question: is this engineering, or is this marketing with extra steps?

Oppo Find X10 camera: three 200MP sensors, zero compromises

Let's get the headline out of the way, because it's genuinely wild. The Find X10 Pro Max packs a 200MP main camera with OIS and DeepPix processing, a 200MP 1/1.56-inch ultra-wide, and a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto with telemacro capability. All of it runs through Oppo's LUMO True Image Engine.

Does anyone need a 200MP ultra-wide? Probably not — that sensor size (1/1.56-inch) is larger than what most phones use for their main camera, so at least the pixels aren't purely decorative. The periscope with telemacro is the one I'm most curious about: 3x optical zoom plus macro capability from the same lens means one fewer camera module doing double duty. On paper, this is the most capable zoom-plus-macro combo in a phone. In practice, image processing matters more than megapixels, and Oppo's track record with Hasselblad tuning is genuinely good — this isn't a brand that slaps lenses on and hopes for the best.

Video is equally aggressive: 8K Log recording across all three rear cameras, 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, and a new Open Gate Capture mode. If you shoot video on a phone, this is the spec sheet to beat in 2026.

The hardware is no slouch either

The Pro Max runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on a 2nm process — the first 2nm phone chip from MediaTek, arriving right as the node transition becomes the new battleground. The standard Find X10 gets the Dimensity 9600M (3nm), which is no slouch but makes the Pro Max's silicon the real headline.

Both phones get an 8,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging. Yes, 8,000. Battery anxiety is officially a solved problem on flagships now; the race has moved to how thin the phone can be while packing a battery this size. The Pro Max adds 50W wireless charging, because flagship tables stakes are flagship table stakes.

The Pro Max display: 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED at 144Hz, 1.15mm symmetrical bezels, 3,600-nit local peak brightness, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. The standard X10: 6.59 inches with 0.99mm bezels. Both ship with Android 17 and ColorOS 17 pre-installed — first phones on the market with the new OS, ahead of the Nothing Phone (3) rollout.

A new button and a durability flex

The 'Snap Key' is a new hardware button with shortcuts for AI Mind Space, camera, flashlight, translation, and voice recording. Hardware shortcut buttons are having a moment across the industry — everyone's decided the volume keys aren't enough. I'll reserve judgment until I see whether anyone remaps it to anything.

Durability: IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, Crystal Shield Glass, aluminum frame. Triple-rated water resistance is overkill in the best way.

Price, offers, and the rest of the event

Leaked pricing puts the X10 around Rs 1,79,999 MRP and the Pro Max at Rs 2,39,999, though a retail listing hints the Pro Max might street at roughly Rs 1,28,990 — official numbers land at the event. Launch offers before Oct 28 include a free powerbank and Enco Air 5 Pro, up to 15% instant cashback, an Rs 8,000 exchange bonus, and 3 months of Google AI Pro.

Same event, more gadgets: the Oppo Pad Mini (2.5K OLED matte display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 8,000mAh) and Enco X4 TWS earbuds (AI ANC, 6nm chip, 53-hour battery) also debut. The Pad Mini's matte display is the sleeper pick — anyone who's used a matte screen knows there's no going back.

The Find X10 series is Oppo swinging for the fences: biggest camera system, newest silicon, biggest battery, first Android 17 phones. Whether the triple-200MP setup survives contact with real-world photo reviews is the only question that matters now. India's verdict arrives October 22.
